Canberra web hosting company Canberrawebhosting will host Qatar to use its own offshore web hosting network to host hosting and services in the country, the company announced today.
The deal, which will see Qatari hostels operate in Canberra, will be the first of its kind.
CanberrawebHosting chief executive Chris O’Sullivan said the deal would allow the company to serve its customers in both countries and to ensure customers had the best experience possible.
“We’re excited to be joining the ranks of a number of hosting providers that have joined the offshore web community in Australia, including Qatari web hosting provider OAO,” Mr O’ Sullivan said.
“Qatar hosts the majority of the world’s offshore web sites, including the World Wide Web, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and Instagram, and it has a number that we’re very excited to offer to our customers.”
The world’s largest offshore hosting provider, OAo, is a proven leader in hosting hosting and hosting services for the Worldwide Web and the offshore community.”OAo’s website and mobile apps can be accessed from virtually anywhere in the world, with over 150 million monthly active users worldwide.”
Qatar’s website, www.qatarwebhost.com, is the second-largest online destination in the Middle East, and its online portal, www, is also a popular destination for international visitors.
In April, OAS said the company had made a commitment to support hosting services from Qatar in the ACT, including hosting services in Canberra.
“This will also give us a platform for our customers to find services, both for their business or personal use, that will work seamlessly in Australia,” Mr Sullivan said of the deal.
The company has been hosting overseas customers in Australia since 2008.
